• You must have a minimum of two inspections a year relating to fire alarm and detection equipment. Since 9/11, this regulation has become much more stringently enforced.
• If you’re located in the five boroughs, all fire alarm systems
must be certified by the NYC Fire Department.
• All fire alarm wires must be covered with a conduit material, such as plastic or metal conduit.
